Has anyone tried this? Now that I am into lasers I want to further pursue this project. Where can I get all the parts that AREN'T from LaserDIY, because their over-priced.

Also, they guy had to have edited his video, because its a 405nm, not a 473nm. ITS NOT BLUE, LIAR

Yeah, except we where later arrested... but we didnt go to jail thank god, neither where there any charges pressed... I wasnt even armed with a laser that night, it wasnt me at all, in fact the person who shined it at the helicopter IS A MEMBER ON THIS SITE omg!

yeah, DO NOT BUY FROM LASERDIY... i'm dealing with horrible customer service from them... and i'm pretty sure i'm down and out $100 because they either scammed me or my order just got lost in the mail, twice, because they sent another shipment a month later... Notice how their website doesn't have a number to call or an address to write to or to give to the police...

That KipKay video is what first got me into lasers, but i just ignored that interest with the lighter, it's going to be very difficult to use batteries like that, i wouldn't even give it a try... The batteries would run out of juice so fast that it wouldn't be able to burn stuff after the first few minutes of use... That's just a hypothesis
