any one have any old hard drives they would give away or sell for cheap?
 





Glona - what size, configuration, etc are you looking for ? I have a ton of old 9 gig IDE drives sitting here - I may have a smaller type (about 20 gig MAYBE) of a SATA drive - let me know what type you are looking for - you would just pay postage ;-)

woudl shipping to the UK be really high :(
 
If you guys are not looking for the whole drive but just internal parts let me know would save you on shipping, platters and magnets can be sent in a padded envelope.

Smidsy - these Hard Drives are pretty old....I think you would be practicing RAID configuration frequently ! They are probably 10+ years old, except for the SATA...I will look a little later today and post what I have for glona, and others to look at :P

lol point taken the sata ones I am interested in :P
 
im mostle intrested in the magnets in them for a school project im doing
