Hi all!

Been off for a while but I've got into lasers again, who wont?

I recently got the dx200 red and theres no doubt I like it. As many others your not satisfied with only one laser or two and you want more.

So I looked at the Nova Lasers x100 but in the end the price goes above my budget, with safety glasses and all. And now theres blu-ray lasers that goes up too like 150mW+ if im correct and I wonder wich buy will be the best?

I heard that usual sunglasses works as protection for blu-ray lasers which is GOOD so i wont have to
spend money on glasses.

My first concern, a blu-ray wont be as visible as a green right? What can you compare it too?...Like red? But hows about burning if I get a like 140mw blu-ray or the x100?

Uhm.. sorry for making this so long but I just want some fact I couldnt find ;)

I hope atleast someone have time to read this ;D

Well sunglasses still wont do much for BR, but BR burns MUCH better than green, people on here have burned paper with 110mW of blu-ray, blu-ray would be a lot more fun than green aswell, theres so much more you can do with it, like fluorescing , and the beam would still be visible, also Blu-ray would make a change, you dont get to see the colour as much as you do with green, so I would say blu-ray.

Thanks for this fast reply! :D

So you guys dont use any safety glasses when using BR? Someone said skii glasses were good I think...

Anyways... It will be cheaper than 290$ shipped I hope and I will discover this cool thing with some GITD stuff.

Thank you once again, I'll think of buying one ;)

Well i think most people do use safety glasses, green safety glasses work I think, but someone said that he found airsoft goggles that worked :P

Most safety goggles that protect against green also protect against blue and blu-ray. These for example:

There's no doubt you do NEED protection for a high powered blu-ray. If you value your eyesight that is.
