green laser problems

i had a green laser i bought from dx
until the diode died so i ordered diode from stonetek, 808nm
i installed it, connected to the driver and there is no green light when i align it with the crystal....
what could be the problem?

How do you know that the original diode died? Did you ever consider that the crystals could be loose/damaged?

i tested the diode, it is 100% dead

is it possible that the stonetek diode is not 808 nm?
