Along my many trips thru the Net, I ran across 5-6 very nice Diagrams/Illustrations that show the breakdown of the typical Green Laser. I found them very informative and hope you like them.

Pic 2 says that the IR pump diode is 1064 (?) :-?

Yeah, pic 2 is wrong. diode is 808nm. Crystal is Nd:YVO4/KTP, not YAG. Just a technicality but the part of the front would be better called a collimator
