Hi everyone,

ok, I used the search function and couldn't really find a thread on this, so if there is one that I overlooked I apologise for double posting.
I am a Mime artist and want to use lasers on stage. One thing I am particularly interested in is this double head Laser 80mw 532nm Green Double Head Fat Beam Stage Handheld Laser R-160C 5Pcs, Britain - DinoDirect.com
and just for comparing purposes, here is another:
100MW * 2 rechargeable double headed Idemitsu the laser rod handheld laser laser sword laser dance-in Stage Lighting Effect from Lights & Lighting on Aliexpress.com
My main concern is safety for me and the audience (I already looked into Laser Safety Goggles and find them quite stylish, I definitely want to wear a pair onstage) since the Laser is 80mw it might be harmful (although, from what I gather, opinions seem to be divided on that matter around here)
So I guess i would just like some more information, if anyone has any experience with them and -especially- which ones to avoid (if there are any of inferior design/material/durability or whatnot)
I would be very grateful about any information or thoughts :)

Unless you can guarantee that the Lasers 80mW beam will
never reach an audience member or stage hand then there
should be no problem if you wear appropriate Laser Safety
Goggles/Glasses.

If you can not guarantee that then I would suggest purchasing
Laser Eye protection for anyone that could possibly be hit in
eyes with 80mW of Laser beam...

It's a bad idea to use that laser, anywhere, anytime.

oh my don't even think about such a crazy thing

your alternative is find someone (not from china) who can provide you with <5mW greens then use a smoke machine

With proper precautions it could be done. I saw a magician who used high power greens, and produced the effect as if he was bending light, when infact he had two pointers.

I really don"t like this kind of laser, it's really dangerous even for the basic use in the sky

I remember the first time i saw a double-headed laser and thinking "that has to be one of the dumbest and most irresponsible laser products I have ever seen."
