Green Dot

i have a 5 milliwatt green laser and something is weird about the dot. the dot looks a 'o' with 2 branches of light connected from the middle like this:

when i twist the laser, the -'s move too. i don't know what is causing the light around the middle of the dot to go like this. sorry if this is a bad description its just kindof hard to describe the problem in words.

sounds like your lens is either scratched or dirty, try cleaning it with eyeglass cleaner and a microfiber cloth, dont use too much solution though!

I agree with hammer_time, do as hammer says and that should sort it.

Take the batteries out before you go staring into the lens when cleaning just in case :
