For the uninitiated, 3blue1brown is an educational math youtube channel known for his great explanatory visuals and intuitive explanations of complex topics.
He just released this video about transmission holography, and I definitely feel it was worth the 45-minute watch.
The approach in the video uses a green laser with a beam splitter and expanders to create an “object” and “reference” light wave that each hit the film. Once both light waves are exposed on film, you can remove the objects and shine the reference wave to recreate the illusion of the objects still behind the film.
Wondering if anyone here has tried something like this, and if there are any differences using shorter/longer wavelength light
