I found out that DragonLasers sells collimated 637nm Spartan lasers, and being in LOVE with the host will get that instead of a 635nm laserbtb HL laser.

However, I can't seem to find for the life of me any laser being sold by a company in the 650nm-660nm range <125mW that is singlemode. All are TE as traverse mode.

Anyone have any leads? Thanks! :yh:

Re: 650nm/660nm single mode sellers?

It looks like laserbtb may have something for you! LP 635nm 660nm 5-130
Edit: Apparently that is TE too. :(

Yep, unfortunately only TE over there. Shouldn't 650nm be much easier to find as singlemode then 637nm, no? *sigh*

Edit: Seems like JetLasers sells their Equality series as Tem00! Might have to go there then ;)

I can give you great links for the diodes, but not finished lasers. If you put one into a 501B host and used an LPC-836 or 840 and used lazeerer's continuous ground adjustable X-Driver you could have a great single mode laser in that 650nm wavelength up to 400mW or most any lower power for about $65.00, maybe less.

That is what I just did! 501B with that Mits LOC diode, and a x-drive mini set to 400ma. These diodes put out a bit of a line with the dot, but it's still a good little burner at close range.

@Hap
If you just want one for the WL and nothing fancy, I'd be willing to part with it. I can always make another. :D

Thanks Chrisbee!

I think I have the 650nm Equality from JetLasers eyed right now :yh: How are the lab lasers going??

They're doing great! Had some family over a couple weeks ago, so I set up some mirrors and showed off the greenie. They thought it was pretty cool! :D
