This A hole has 20K views, as if idiots with flebay pointers weren't causing enough trouble, I hope people know better........crap

oh boy now some silly buggers going to think it fun to dazzle people with a laser.....
if i run into those lunatic up to no good, i will introduce them to my boots...

You could probably wear out a pair of boots and we still will be surrounded by idiots, but I'm with ya, if some mindless jerk points a laser at my face he won't have to carry it home in his pocket.

He did mention safety in the introduction....just saying :(

Edit: How is this more dangerous then pointing a regular laser at someone though? Sorry for my silliness. Isn't a beam diffused less harmful?

Hes encouraging people to use this to "dazzle people". I flagged it and stated "promoting unsafe laser use".
The last thing we need is someone replicating this with a more power full laser.

It's all fun and games until someone looses an eye... Imma be honest I have intentionally hit my skin with every laser I own just to feel the power.. Am I the only one?

You can't see 808 worth a dam, so someone could hurt you quite a bit before you knew anything was being done, it's disgusting what that jerk is suggesting his viewers do, with a 532 at least you know they are point at you.

Also with the output lens replaced it focuses, I can see mine on my cell cam across the yard and it is well focused.

I wouldn't even wanna mess with a ir without my safety glasses on... I don't have one yet but it's on the list.

Lasers should not be pointed at people end of, diffused or collimated. We do not need people like this advertising such a stupid idea. It is only going to lead to trouble. Good job for flagging this up RedCowboy.

Let's keep things in perspective. He said he lives in an unsafe neighborhood. He's not suggesting at all this device should be pointed at anyone for any purpose other than for personal defense. Flashlights with strobe can be used for the same purpose and that's what he's done with this laser by putting an external lens that spreads the beam turning it into a flashlight.

If you had your laser with you one night or day and you were in a situation of personal eminent danger from someone else would you not use your laser as a defense tool with no option to run away?

There's no law that I can find prohibiting anyone from using a light producing device as a personal defense tool.
