good flashlights to mount aixis and board into?

I have the stuff in front of me. aixis module with 250mw diode and the board to drive it. Just wondering whats a good flaslight to mount this all into? 2aaa or 3aaa? i can set the board up to use eithor.

If the volt(3.6v) is available for the board, it's best to powered by a lithium battery, so that you could play it for a LONG time. The lithium batt is also small and litght...
...Did you make the board by yourself?

its a board i got off ebay that runs 4.5v-4.8v . Its 12mm dia and 1.5mm thick

So i have 3 flashlights with that configuration already but the one i want to use i cant get the head off (im guessing its glued) its a dorcy hawkeye
