Not really, but the good thing is that you asked the question at the right place. If the objective is to make a violet laser that does 100mW(ish) you have a better chance of getting close to that with a ebay pen ($5 usually)

You can also contact thejoker301 or go to Sci-Fi Lasers (thejoker301) it is a member owned shop and they sell some amazing products for very great price, Im sure he will guide to towards a better beginner option that suits your taste.

But if you must build one, and really want to go the DIY route then go right ahead :beer: Hope this helps!
