Goggle recommendations, 200mW, 660nm

Yeah I heard that dragonlaser goggles do their job well.
I have a 50mw red laser and I randomly found some goggles @ home that work perfectly.
I'M NOT SURE SO PLS CORRECT IF I'M WRONG but i think that nearly every green glass, plastic blocks 650nm...

For this power (200mW), with these goggles and for this wavelength, let pass only 0.02 mW.

Rest assured, is more than enough.

I'm really new to this, would you mind explaining to me why there is only 0.02 mW left? Because the goggles don't show how much mW it blocks

Ok, these glasses for this wavelength (621-740nm) are protection OD>4 (OD = Optical Density).

A type of goggles with protection OD4 for a one specific wavelength, only allowed to pass 0.01% of this wavelength.

OD>2 allowed to pass only 1%

OD>3 allowed to pass only 0.1%

OD>4 (in this case at this wavelength) allowed to pass only 0.01%

etc, etc....

the calculation is easy to do, 0.01% of 200mW = 0.02mW, this is what the glasses let pass.

That means it blocks 199.98mW of that wavelength.

I hope I explained well, my English is not very good :)
