Getting used to laser brightness?

Sometimes the threads get some oxidation. Try a little steel wool to clean the threads. It happened to my DX True 5. It started losing power, and going through batteries quick. By mistake I found out it was the oxidaion causing the problem. John Lawson told me it was a common problem.
