I'd like for the button to either be on the side where my thumb can reach it or the bottom of the palm so my finger can reach it.
I was thinking to get one of those cheap red laser pointers at Walmart, take it apart and put it in the palm... but after watching video of someone disassembling it I'm not sure that would work. Not sure I could get all the pieces where I would need them to be including the button and battery where I'd want the,.
I was thinking to build my own. I've read some instructibles. I've seen some diodes and kits on ebay but they ship from China which is well known for scammers. I checked the "bible" pinned but most of the links are broken and it was a lot to shift through. I know green shows up better, but I'd really like to go red. "Fat beam" lasers look pretty nice (like this:
but without the annoying flashing) and I know there are optics for lasers but there's so many that I don't know which to get.
Trying to do this on a budget as well. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
