The Summer has been quiet hot and dry. There was very little rain for about 5 months putting the area into a dry spell. Then about 10 days ago is got cloudy and started raining on and off. There has been very little sun since then. Then comes the hurricane. Yesterday was fairly windy with a decent amount of rain. Then it calmed down until about 2 AM. The real high winds and heavy rain lasted until about 10:30 AM.
Power went out around 10:45 AM but has since been restored. No water. The company said the tower servicing my area is empty. Either people used it up or there is a broke line. There's no way they could have filled the tower back up unless there was a generator anyway. Pictures and some video will come later. I'm about to check out a road that is supposedly washed out near me.
