i have a new fog machine new in box asking 30.00 shipped in us

oh my god i want it. do you know if this stuff will set off smoke detectors? if not, i'll take it :D can't risk it setting off the smoke detectors (i live in a dorm)

how many cubic feet per minute does this do?

Well then if i were you, i would turn the fog machine on, then get a smoke detector and hold it about 10 feet away. see if it goes off. If not then it will save this guy 30$

Well uh.. he didn't even give us the model # or brand name so we could compare it to other prices. I don't know much about fog machines, and i sure as hell don't want to get ripped off. This fog machine is like 20$ max online.
 
Fog machines do set off smoke alarms. Just use it in a room without one, or just cover up your detector while you smoke up a room.
