I've been thinking about this for a while, and I think it would be a pretty good idea. A sticky under the reviews section with all different kinds of lasers that memebers have. However, they only can get in there if the mw has been verified with a laser power meter of some kind. So, heres what it would look like
Nova Lasers X-85
-DoughDTD - 100.1 mw peak 98.7 mw avg, measured with LPM-1
-Senkat - 105.3 mw peak, 96.4 mw avg, measured with Lasercheck(even though im pretty sure Lasercheck doesnt do avg, im just trying to get my pint across ;D)
Laser Glow Herculues 300mw
-MorePower - 376 mw peak, 327 mw avg measured with blah blah blah
i think it would be cool to get an actual feel for different members products received from different companies. Then we can begin to see trends in companies, such as Company X makes a good product, but they sell lasers almost exactly equal to the mW power rated on them. However, Company Y makes a good prodcut as well, but typically UNDERLABELS, meaning their 85mW laser puts out alot more mW on average. It would help people make decisions on companies, as well as be better informed about the quality of product produced by some companies. It would also help with some of the higher end lasers like the Hulk that say 200-300 mW, we can get an actual feel as to where the average Hulk lies in that range. I realize not a huge number of people have meters, but this might even spur people to send their lasers to people with LPM-1 or other meteres to verify output and be placed onto this sticky thread.
Hopefully you guys see where I'm coming from, I think this would be a really good addition to the review section
