It is not an ultrafire but thanks for the heads up. I'm leaving it alone until i get a new battery, but question: if the battery has a good heft, doesn't get hot at all, and works fine might it be safe? It has no brand name and is wrapped in sky blue plastic.

Get AW brand or the Panasonic one mentioned regardless they are icr cells I believe thus much safer and longer longevify
