If you are never going to use the laser inside or point it at anything close, the glasses do not matter. At that rating, you aren't going to be able to burn anything easily so it's not even worth it IMO. Still get the cheap ones just in case. I have the uvex pair from amazon and they are wonderful. I don't think you will be able to see that beam without smoke. Your cheap greens you have are going to be brighter.

Baron, which pair of uvex do you have? there are a few on amazon
