Laser Pointer Forums - Discuss Laser Pointers | High Power Lasers

It was incredibly foggy here last night, so I took the opportunity to take a whirl at laser photography. I am not even an average photographer, having used my iPhone for all photography during the past 4 years. The shots were taken with a Canon 60D at ISO 3200, and a shutter time of ˜20 secs.

I used quite a few of my lasers, including 405, 445, 462, 520, 532, and 635nm..

These pictures were taken at 9PM on the east coast (sun sets at 6:30) so it was quite dark already.

Very first picture I took.. not exactly the best. This is a 500mw 532nm

Adjusted the camera and some settings.. voila, it looked much better

Added a 2w 445nm in there, it seemed to significantly cover the 532 on camera, but not in actuality.

The most crisp beamshot of the night..

More beamshots

Now, just everything thrown together..

And then a little childish discovery at the end.. laser drawing on a garage door!

It was a night of fun. Once past the initial laser burning craze, things like photography are what makes lasers so interesting :D Thanks for looking!
