What you see here is a two month pet project custom built laser gun.The specs are as follows: The heart of this gun is a NICHIA NUBM38 455nm 74W Multiple Blue Laser Diode Chip Array drivin by a 600w boost converter and powered by a Spektrum Smart Technology 22.2V 3200mAh 6S 30C Smart LiPo IC5 battery with a matching Spectrum battery got power the cooling fan and are charged by a Spectrum smart charger. The diode is securely mounted to an aluminum heat sink using indium foil. All of this is housed in a vacuum cleaner which is built very solid. This gun is awesome and powerful. At the front of this gun is a hand built focusing lens that is protected by a super cool iris cap.Just twist the cap to expose the beam. This is the first of 3 I am building.
