fan or no fan

Ok so i making a another laser and i am putting it into a preety big project box 5x2x2 and i already have installed the two swiitches for laser and fan but my dad doesnt think i need a fan. I am going to be runniny my 16x stonetech diode around 250mA

so what do u think fan or no fan :-/? I am kinda leaning towards using a fan to keep my diode nice and cool.

you shouldn't need a fan for at that current, but you could take the temperature without it and see if thats considered a safe temp.

But a fan wouldn't be neccesary AFAIK, maybe just some heatsinking.
