I have recently built a red burning laser. With a 16x DVD burning diode and axzis module. I saw a video on you tube that if you use rechargeable batteries they will not burn out the diode as fast. Now that i have it built i am concerned about my eyes. What kind of eye ware for red lasers do I need? Also my contact Lenses protect my eys some? they filter out some UV rays.
