Everyone needs to exercise proper laser safety and protect their eyes by wearing the correct certified laser safety glasses to attenuate the wavelength they are working with, this is the best way to avoid any eye damage.

I have heard that many people will notice their floaters after starting into the laser hobby, simply because they are suddenly paying more attention to their vision, however anyone who thinks they may have sustained an eye injury needs to see an eye doctor.

I noticed my floaters and went to my eye doctor, he said I do not have any laser related eye damage and told me about treatment options, I decided to live with them and now I don't notice them except on an overcast day or ....... If I start looking for them.

My advise is #1 SEE A NEW EYE DOCTOR, then see another eye doctor if you are not satisfied, then GET OUT OF YOUR OWN HEAD !

I have floaters, tinnitus, all kinds of chronic pain........ I could let it drive me crazy, but instead I say FUK-IT and it simply fades into the background...... but fixate and obsess on it and you can drive yourself crazy.

Again if you have any concerns, see a doctor.
Weigh your options and the risks of treatment.
Don't drive yourself crazy, our life is finite, enjoy it while you can.

I am okay normally but when I look at a computer screen my eyes get tired much quicker which is affecting my work due to the floaters. You can imagine (or in your case relate to) how annoying that can be :( I’ve read that sometimes floaters get better after the 6 month period or overtime will fall to the bottom of your eye (years or decades) so that may be the silver lining bleh.

Why would the thread need to be closed? I am trying to ask for help and seeing any answers even if wrong are always a blueprint to bounce ideas off of. Also, his post (encap) does not help as we both (doodero) and I have been to multiple opthalmologists and retinal specialists and their answers did not satisfy. Also, I myself am a medical doctor. I don’t even know the answer hence I asked this question. Instead of shutting down every sincere question that comes your way, please put your ego aside and understand there are people who are exhausting all options to look for the solutions and are open to correct or misinformation. We are all intelligent to decipher the information for ourselves, Unown.
Week ban for continued arguing, continued discussion and for unnecessary insults.
I don't get why he isn't understanding what we're telling him. I can't risk lpf being liable for false or harmful information.
