Earth Day!






Happy Earth day to you too Alex, and to everyone else. :beer:
Look after the Earth, for without it we wouldn't have Earth lasers! ;)
 
This year won't be as optimistic as past years, but I always celebrate. It's not so much the earth we need to look after, but the environment. The earth will still be here regardless, but we may not.

I must say i completely missed it this year, but was this not the day people were supposed to turn off their lights during some hour of the day?

It used to be a bit of a thing back here with numerous companies turning off their lit signs for an hour or so. I'm not sure it's the -same- thing though.

There isn't any media coverage here in any case, while there used to be in the past.

Not being the biggest elelogical alarmist in town i used to remotely light a sign on a building a bit under 1 km away using a laser when they turned it off for the event :D
