DX - Red 200mW or True Green 100mW






Looking at the reviews on the true 100mW greenie, it doesn't look so good...

Other Thoughts: spetromic laser power meter results
at a distance of 15mm from output lens inside
at optimum tempreture of 28C
63.8mw 532 green
26.3mw 1064nm infrared
38.4mw 808nm red/infrared

in the cold ( 18C)
6mw 532nm
34mw 1064nm
95mw 808nm (actually line/peak at 805nm)

If you want a burning laser, go for the heavily tested 200mW red. If you want a good green laser, pick up a true 30 or 50mW, the 100mW one is just a IR flood.
 
so.. i think the true 50mw on dealextreme is the best buy. previously was the 30mw.. the better option.. but since the price of the 50mw model is dropped.. the best choose is 50mw. i think right?
 
Go for the 200mW red. It's really cheap and I have heard *mainly* good things about it.
 
the true 100 and 200 are pure IR. The realtion of power/price doesnt matter at all, it's great on both, what you need to choose between is green or red laser, pointing or burning, 20 or 40 bucks.
