DX kit+Senkat's preinstalled LDs. Will this work?

Will I be able to replace the LD in that DX kit with Senkat's pre-installed LD's? Will this replace the driver module for a burning laser? And I see it's for 5V. Will I be able to use 2xcr123's or a 9V battery with this? I'm new and don't now much about electronics, I do know how to solder really well though :) Or should I go with the DIY kit that Senkat has for sale on his site? Size doesn't really matter to me since it's going into a small box. Sorry for all the questions ;)

You'd have to adjust the driver board, because 70mW and 200mW is a big diffrence, and the LD might now work. Otherwise you're good. You can hardly even get that driver board in a box, it looks big, but you need to have 5VDC, or more for SenKat's diode.
