i recently ordered these matches from DX. the quality is very poor, but matches are matches. The sliding box holding the matches is thin cardboard, and the outside box is very fragile wood.(it was alrdy slight falling apart when I got them) The matches themselves are very flimsy. But, for $2.98, I cant ask for more. Also, there are about 50 matches stuffed in each box, so thats 500+ matches total.

At least you didn't ask them for a black flame candle. :p

I have these. They light faster than red unsharpied matches but they are harder to light than sharpied book matches.

Just wanted you guys to know i received mine today. 23 days from order date.

VERY low quality. The striking strip is like painted on glue, the boxes are crappy but there are SOOOOOOO many of them. about 55-60 per box (i counted 1 box, so just a guess that they're all the same)

Some of the matches aren't even straight, atleast 1/10th of them.

If you wanta save time not sharpying then go ahead. Truly aren't recommended unless you have plans to light a few 100 matches in a day or something.

I got mine last week but the tips are not really black... they're more like a light brown/red.  They don't really light any easier than red ones.

Thats odd as mine are truly black.

I'm sure the content of the tips won't be constant with matches of this quality, so you guys must have gotten them from a different production run that i did

You get what you pay for.

Yeah they do drop hot rocks everywhere, i had that problem already :p

Cardboard and even normal wood matches don't do that.

Plus when i light them all the wood starts smoking (not just the lit part) its a bit odd.

I wouldn't use them inside ever.
