Hello everyone.

I got two of this little guys:

True Green Laser Pen 5mW - Worldwide Free Shipping - DX

One makes a little circle around the dot and the other its perfectly fine (i think must have more then 50mw because the line is soo noticeble at night pointing to stars).

Problem is, both of them with the batteries inside they are a little loose and sometimes, like walking and pointing, they turn off/on the laser even when im clicking it.

What can i put near the batteries to prevent this to happen?

Thanks.

I would try to tape some paper around the batteries until they are thick enough. Doesn't have to be anything special IMO.

But the connectors arent around the batteries. Soo how can a paper work if they still move up/down? I need something to put one of the sides soo they are always connected. I dont mind the sides been loose.

Lol I'm sorry, I thought you meant the sides, not the TOP and BOTTOM of the batteries :o :D

Anyway, I had the same problem but with my charger, the batteries were too small so I just put some old car audio fuse inbetween, it conducts the power nicely and works like a charm.

Also these car audio fuses have a golden end, depending on how much space you need you can take a full fuse of just the tail of head of it.

Those are the ones I mean

A simple conductive spacer should work.

Hummm i think i should take the laser to an hardware store close to me soo they put something. I was thinking some home made item but i see its a bit hard lol

or maybe a few layers of aluminum foil?

Is that the one we use to wrap the food? Strange i ask a friend days ago he said that is not conductive. I'm going to check in 2 days the store to see what they got there for me :)

LaserPointerer thanks but im not going reg and make them send for 2bucks. I will find something close to me.

The aluminum foil that I have is a very good conductor, although it will add some resistance to the circuit (but very low).
