Driver to power a 1W 808nm diode

What driver should I use? Do a microboost fits it? Or there is something cheaper for IR lasers?

3x or 4x amc7135 driver with one Li-ion will work good according to you LD's datasheet.

No need to insulate IR LD because amc7135 is negative regulator(common positive, power and output).

And should consider the safety. It can burn anything including your eyes.

Well, i'm aware of the risks, it will be used for industrial purpose, cutting faber!
Also, where cna i buy that kind of driver? I didn't find it anywhere...

Can i use just a current regulator (LM317)? Will it work? I have to regulate the current in the negative pin, right?
