Hi guys, just a couple of things.. Is it just me or is the driver missing something from it? There's two bits of solder left over but looks like something has came off it? Also I've bought a good few things recently and the new stuff I'm getting isn't labled.. How do I tell what driver this is for and how do I set dial for appropriate diode ? I'm gona have to start paying you guys for all the advice I'm getting, yous are all like personal assistants 😂😂 can't thank you's enough 👍🏻👍🏻

You have to use a test load to find out what it puts out... that's a fixed driver and the solder joints are made to be jumped if you want to use a lower mA ...

Yeah, that's one of Lazeerer's X-Drives with some solder bridging two parts. The cap has been heated to the point it's been blown off. This isn't an adjustable X-Drive so there is no bridge that changes the power. It is set by the sense resistor.

Where and when did you buy it? If it is from a reputable seller, you should be able to use the photograph to get a new one or refund. I would not connect it to anything the way it is. If it isn't damaged beyond repair, it needs to be repaired before you connect it to anything.

Got it from DTR pal. Apparently he's good seller no?

Send him a PM telling him your problems and asking if you can email him a photo of the module. He is one of the best sellers here. He almost always checks his items before shipping them, so this could be a one in a million chance where he didn't. IDK. Tell him your problems. I've worked with him for years and he has always done me right.
