Driver and laser assembly...

Ok hi guys.. just got all the parts I need to make my laser...

Parts list:

project box
heat sink
phr803t - blu ray laser diode (thanks scopeguy20)
flexdrive v4 - preset 110ma (thanks drlava)
Aixiz module
momentary switch
2x AA battery clips (holders)

ok all I need help with is wireing this bad boy up... how and where do I wire them to and any tips or suggestions when it comes to wireing and stuff....

i am going to assume you are very new to lasers my friend, i would suggest having someone help you who has built a laser(s) before.

it is not as simple as wiring it up.

even though your driver is PRE set... you still need to test it, i have recieved flexdrives that were 20Ma OVER what i had requested. thus killing my PHR at the time.

just a word of advice.

Oh, and you should DEFINATELY put this into a host. you have a flex drive and a heatsink. what kind of heatsink is it?

and did you press the diode into the aixiz module yourself? if so i hope you were veeeeery careful. if it is not set JUST right, your laser will be crooked and look horrible. or may not work at all.
