I just saw an ad on eBay for some military surplus laser protection goggles... Do these look like they'd be OK to anyone out there?

I'd say they look good. The wavelenghts they protect are right. I have never had any goggles, so I am not really an expert, but if they are military quality they should be good enough for us laser enthusiasts! ;D

So, I got these (and the other pair at $29.95 I mentioned in my other post here). They are definitely ex-Military, and manufactures in 1975! So the foam rubber is kind of dried out and crumbly, but the lenses are in great shape, and I think these work pretty well. I can barely see the light from my pointer when I have these on.

Now, all I need is to put together some time to "experiment"!

I'm sure they protect you ok enough but you'd look like a dork wearing them LOL. You'd have to say that you've been paintball shooting to get away with them as a fashion statement
