Jeff - Great! your 14mw red sounds really interesting! i'm pleased someone else has had success with homebuilt LD holography. can I ask what type of LD you used? I'd be really interested in seeing your results if you have a pic of the hologram?
Benm - thanks for the comments - I think my design will keep the diode stable enough for holography, but I plan to power the diode with a standard LM317 current limiting circuit. is there a way of adding any further stability to this circuit?
