DIY laser tripod stand for under $1.75, 3 parts

ok, i made a laser tripod a couple of weeks ago, and i decided to show how to make it out of a flexible camera tripod a nut, and 1/2 inch pvc pipe

first get 4 inches of 1/2 inch pvc pipe

then, cut it in half, length wise using a miter box

then, color the cut pipe black and super glue a nut that fits on the tripod (not sure of exact size) onto the colored pvc pipe, and color the nut black too (actually any color would do, i just colored mine black)

(that bump on the bottom is the nut, and sorry for the uncropped pics, im in a hurry)

then screw the nut with the attached pvc pipe onto the tripod, and have fun lasing

total est. cost is $1.75, the tripod is from dx for around $1.50 and the nut is probably less than $0.25, the pipe should be the right size to fit the laser in it while depressing the button
