It's nothing special other than the pictures are interesting and that this was amazingly easy..

Without the flash, the color saturation is extraordinary.
This flashlight mod uses the stock CR123 batteries (they are weak at the moment) Senkat LD in Aixiz module, and the 317 current regulator (@250mA) in a an Ebay flashlight purchased for ~$5.00
I expect that with fresh batteries, this will be even brighter.
