Diode replacement

Hi All. I am new here and I need some advice. Can I replace burnt out diodes in some lasers that I have that have been down for some time awaiting repairs? If it's possible, what will I need?

be specific on your question , pics model#s or any specifications on the lasers you want get repaired? lasershows, handhelds, lab-styles etc?
