Hmm now that I think of it I wouldn't know where to buy isopropyol alcohol or denatured ethanol in a store here in Holland. But I have access to both at my work.
I can get isopropyl alcohol in concentrations up to 99% for less than 3 bucks for 500ml at my local drug store. Even if other things were used in its place, I don't get why it would be so expensive in other countries.
