I have now bought 3 laser diodes / assemblies (aixiz moduled diodes) from Dave and his service is top notch. I can be assured that as long as I pay $10 for priority mail, those diodes will be here in under a fortnight.

In this order I picked up one diode with leads attached and one in an aixiz module.
Laser diodes were well packages, inside a priority mail envelope, then bubblewrap, then an antistatic bag, and finally a little jewelery box (the mottled cardboard kind you'd find a ring in), packaged one on top of the other, each in antistatic material, and sleeping soundly in their own cotton wool beds, awaiting my driver to wake them up.
Nothing short of a nuclear blast (or me with my exacto blade) was going to get through that packagaging!
