Cube beamsplitters, pellicles, lens sources?

Hi - Anyone have any good sources for beam spliter/combiner cubes other than Edmunds? Looking mostly for stuff in the 650-670nm range, specifically combiner cubes to stack multiple diodes. Edmunds lists the 5mm cubes (I want the small ones) at something like $150.00 each! I'm looking for something like $10.00 each! :) Anyone have any suggestions?

Also need to source small plano-convex lenses ( ~ 7mm dia) that are coated - cheap - and good.

Thanks for the help,

Dave

Well, you are pretty much screwed. Polarizing beamsplitting cubes are expensive as hell. Although they do actually use them in dvd burners sometimes. I saw a diagram of a bluray player and they are used in those as well along with some lenses and a 1/4 waveplate (http://www.fineartradiography.com/hobbies/lasers/blu-ray/optics.html). You might be able to get some lenses from dvd or cd burners also but Im not sure.

The cheapest place I have found to get polarizing beamsplitting cubes is from Casix, I was looking earlier this year and the 10 mm square ones are $108. They also sell DVD burner optics which includes really small beamsplitting cubes that might be cheaper, you have to email them to get prices.

For lenses I always get them from thorlabs because they sell everything and they are pretty cheap, here is a link to the regular planoconvex lenses, for 670nm I think you use the B coating which are the ones I usually get for my red dye laser.
