Craftsman Goggles?

I have a pair of Red Craftsman goggles that came with my Craftsman Laser Level. Older model but very simular to these.

The ones I have are an older style but they look just like the Protective goggles you buy for Green lasers.

Do you know if these would work for protection from green?

They are made to make viewing red easier when leveling but is there anything different in the lens that makes green protection goggles any different or is it just the red color lens? :thinking:

Good safety goggles offer protection for specific wavelengths. These goggles are for use with a low powered laser tool and probably don't block 532 nm light. Personally I'd buy rated, certified goggles for use with green lasers such as these http://store.oemlasersystems.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8_10_72&products_id=420 for anything over 30mw.
