That looks really nice and cheap too. Be a nice idea to gut it out and build a DVD LD inside it. I noticed they also have laser modules for like $4.
 
The modules are Aixiz modules + warning sticker. Miracles of bulk pricing.
Other thing is, those N batteries would last about 10 min with a DVD LD.
