I just got my coherent lasercheck today which I plan on using with my HeNe/lower powered lasers to measure output. The step attenuator seems to have a small smudge on it towards the left side of it. I know the step attenuator is for over 10mw, but I just want it to look nice. I don't believe it would alter a reading at all given it's position. I'm not even sure if cleaning it would even be advised, but figured I'd see if anyone had experience or input here.
