Well, I've decided to make a 3 motor spirograph and went looking for the parts. My first choice of vendor was Maplin, big mistake, they are just sooo expensive !!!! I looked around a little more and found a small family run independent store
who are quite reasonable. My parts haven't arrived yet but can't wait to get stuck in. If you're in the uk and want cheap part, check this place out Bitsbox - UK Electronic Components Distributor

Good find! Even shipping to continental europe seems quite reasonable. Looks especially good for things like multiturn pots and other small parts. I often order parts from futurlec, but this probably ships faster at similar prices.

I looked at a few other electronic vendors and they were quite pricey, 20% more expensive some of them and the shipping was ridiculous also. Glad I found this little gem of a sore
