cheap <5 or <10 red diodes

hey i am just looking for some cheap diodes to make a few diy lasers out of. i know senkat has some but i dont want anything that powerful because it is for my 12yr old brother. dx takes too long to get here

Im sure other ebay sellers or stores would have cheaper 650nm ones i just dont fell like lookin thru them all ;D

hmm they are cheap but would you be able to see the beam at night?

Unfortunatnly no, even with my diy red putting out 170mw i can just barily, i mean barely make out the beam at night.  Theres no diodes that could do that unless you just buy a green laser pointer like this one, you could see its beam at night and its cheap....http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.91

EDIT: Well just saw you said dx takes to long to get here, in that case i dont know.
