Is there a diode with better burning/engraving capabilities than the NUBM44-V2 due to the high divergence of the NUBM44?

There is a lot more to it than what you ask. A lot more details about what you mean are necessary to really answer . There are many different laser diodes and other laser types that can do engraving/burning jobs depending upon what the job actually is.
