Can you find the mistake?






There's actually another mistake, on the second link, frequency should be changed to wavelength.
 
Any special reason it has to be a green laser?
Wouldn't a simple red laser work the same way?

Green is more visible at lower powers. If you use red you will have to be in a completely dark room. Use any more than 20mW and you will likely fry the organisms. lol! ;)

I believe the words are both universal.
 
no they are two different things, but they are related.

Frequency has an inverse relationship to the concept of wavelength, simply, frequency is inversely proportional to wavelength [ch955] (lambda). The frequency f is equal to the phase speed v of the wave divided by the wavelength [ch955] of the wave:

for light v would be the speed of light. ie~ 3x10^8 m/s

A green laser has a wavelength of 532nm and a frequency of 563Mhz
