I have been a strong laser enthusiast for 10 years now. Have been building them for 4 years. I want to take it to the next level and try out beam combining. It would be the highlight of my laser days to build something like this but with the newer NUBM44 6+W 450nm diodes. All I know about beam combining is from this page. http://laserpointerforums.com/f51/reference-guide-how-combine-lasers-77449.html

Id like to build something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXEGlfKmspc

I am just not sure what is the right way to approach such a project.

I am also interested in using a polarized beam splitter for combining just 2 beams but I dont know how i would do the mounting in a portable nature.

also also is there a type of lens that can be used to focus the focal point of the two beams that are combined after a pbs cube
