This was by far the best trade I've ever done via LPF. Sure, it was the first but it was easy, quick and simple. I purchased a 1.4w hotlight from him. shipping took 6 days but it was over a spring break and I can't blame a person for USPS's shipping times. When I first got the laser, I played around with it a bit and thought something was wrong.
That's what it looked like at first when I took the lens off, the spot wasn't "clean" with the lens on. So I talked to him about it and he asked for a focused picture. The battery he had shipped with the laser had died and I was going to charge it. However, he had forgotten to ship me a metal [battery charger fitter]. He had planned to ship the [battery charger fitter] and a lens to me for free, but I wanted him to check out the laser so I shipped it back to him. He had written back today saying he had replaced the diode as it had debris on it. I offered to pay shipping both ways. He will be shipping it back later today as I had purchased a 405nm from him and he will ship both.
Overall, a small problem with the laser that he had fixed, a small problem with the battery charger fitter but that's no major problem. But a very nice guy, dealed with a lot of BS on my half and helped me a pretty lot. Will purchase from him again if he has any more great offers.
